The BTech Ed IT Program is a 4-year (8 Semesters) undergraduate degree program of Kathmandu University School of Education, in association with the School of Engineering. The central purpose of this is to develop competent, reflective, and innovative IT professionals to address the human resources shortage in Information Technology in Nepal and beyond. It combines work-based, project-based, and problem-based learning for practical education, preparing graduates for careers as IT professionals, educators, and curriculum developers, with eligibility for master’s programs in related fields. The program consists of 136 credit hours, comprising 80 credit hours of theoretical coursework and 56 credit hours of practical coursework.
